The Three Peaks Challenge
15-17 May & 10-12 July 2009
- Ben Nevis in the Highlands
- Mount Snowdon in North Wales
- Scafell Pike in the Lake District
Approximately 26 miles of rugged mountain terrain, with 430 miles of driving in between! Join the Meningitis Trust team and scale the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 36 hours, whilst raising vital sponsorship to help people affected by meningitis.
We organise two challenges each year: one in May and the second in July. The event is a real endurance test with each mountain providing a mental as well as a physical challenge, but the feeling of exhilaration on completion is worth every step!
We will provide all the support you need before, during and after the Three Peaks Challenge, including:
· Training, dietary and fundraising advice
· Regular challenge information and updates
· Transport throughout the challenge with
dedicated drivers
· Fully qualified safety team who guide you on
each mountain
· Accommodation and celebratory meal
· 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor stores
To take part you’ll need to pay a £75 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship.
