Support us through your salary or pension scheme
Payroll giving (donating through your salary) is an easy and tax efficient way to make regular donations to the Meningitis Trust. The great news is that donations are tax free and it actually costs you less to give us more.

* If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can also reclaim additional tax relief against your donations on the difference between the higher rate of tax at 40% or 45% and the basic rate of tax at 20%. You can then choose to donate this additional money to the Trust.

Giving regularly through your salary enables the Trust to plan and carry out our vital work, safe in the knowledge that our funding is secure. In this way we can offer support for life for those affected by meningitis, whenever it is needed, for as long as it is needed.

Setting up a donation through your salary is easy, simply follow the instructions on the Big Change website or print off and complete a payroll giving form and give it to your payroll department. If your employer hasn’t currently got a payroll giving scheme, please let us know on 01453 768000.

Donating through your pension
You can make a regular deduction to us tax-free through your private pension.
Simply request an information pack by emailing payrollgiving@meningitis-trust.org, calling 01453 769082 or download a pension giving form.
What does your money buy
£10 - can pay for 500 symptoms cards that may help save a life through the early identification of the symptoms of meningitis.
£17 - can pay for one hour of a home-based carers’ service to give the family of someone who has been severely disabled by meningitis a much-needed break.
£30 – can pay for enough crayons, clay or other creative materials for a child or young person to use in six sessions of art therapy, to help them express themselves after a meningitis experience.
