The Glasgow Women’s 10k is one of the biggest events on Scotland’s running calendar with almost 14,000 women taking part in 2007. The course starts just outside Bellahouston park and passes through Maxwell park and Pollock park – two of the most scenic areas of Glasgow. The finish line is back in Bellahouston park where there is a warm welcome for every runner.
Entertainment and much needed refreshments are also provided. Expect a large welcoming crowd, it is estimated that there were 30,000 people in attendance at the finish line area in 2007.
