Awareness raising

We are committed to raising awareness of the disease in all the work we do and produce a range of awareness information materials, such as a credit card sized signs and symptoms card and iPhone app.

We can give free awareness talks to organisations including: St John Ambulance, nursery schools, Women’s Institutes, secondary schools and teachers of the deaf.

We can also provide sessions for health professionals covering many meningitis related topics which can be adapted to meet the needs of any audience, for example:

• Infection Control Nurses.
• Rehabilitation specialists.
• Occupational therapists.

We always try to provide a speaker when requested. However, if this is not possible, we can supply disease information materials.
