We fund counselling, wheelchairs, speech therapy, specialist equipment and more. But we can't without donations. Please help.

Home visits

If you or a family member has had meningitis you may feel isolated, confused and unsure about your recovery and what life will be like after the disease.

A visit from one of our Community Support eam in the comfort of your home can give you and your family an opportunity to talk about meningitis, how it has affected you as well as helping you find out more about after effects and recovery.   Our community support team can introduce you to our information and resources, as well as talking about the range of other support we can offer.

A home visit can be a vital source of support and information soon after having the disease or even many months later.  We are committed to providing support whenever the experience of meningitis and our team of community support officers work throughout the whole of the UK.

If you are struggling to recover fully from meningitis, have unanswered questions or want to find out more about other support available to you, a home visit could be helpful.

How do I arrange a home visit?

A home visit can be requested by calling our 24-hour on 0808 80 10 388, contacting your local Community Support Officer - or filling out an enquiry form.

A member of the services team will call or email you back to discuss the service in more detail.
