We offer a range of free professional services and community based support for people affected by meningitis. These are available to anyone affected; family, friends, colleagues and even whole communities. Our services include:
Home visits, which let you to talk to someone who understands meningitis and meningococcal disease, as well as find out what other help is available to you from the Meningitis Trust.
Counselling is a safe, confidential service providing emotional support for anyone who has been affected by meningitis.
Financial support grants provide vital funding for necessary and unexpected costs following meningitis.
Art therapy is a therapeutic service which uses creativity to help support children and young adults who have been affected by meningitis.
The one-to-one support service puts people who have been affected by meningitis in touch with a volunteer who has had a similar experience, for telephone or email support.
Our freephone 24-hour nurse-led helpline provides vital information and support whenever it is needed.
Family days bring families together to share their experiences of meningitis in a friendly and safe environment. There are opportunities for children to play together and for parents to meet each other and talk to staff from the Trust.
