Meningitis Trust nurses

The Community Nurses are able to help you by:

  • Home visits 
  • Arrange other means of our professional support
  • Signposting you to other organisations that are helpful
  • Making sure you and your community has all the information that you need

Our nurses also work with health professionals to increase the understanding of the disease and to ensure everyone knows the support which the Trust can offer.

Jude Cuthbert - Community Services NurseJude Cuthbert, Community Services Nurse based in Belfast.

Jude works throughout Northern Ireland to provide practical and emotional support to anyone who has been affected by meningitis from the initial diagnosis in hospital to supporting you at home.

There are a number of resources available to anyone who may be interested in learning more about meningitis and the support we offer. We constantly raise awareness of our free support which is available to patients and families after hospital amongst those professionals so that families are not left on their own.
