We fund counselling, wheelchairs, speech therapy, specialist equipment and more. But we can't without donations. Please help.

Five Valleys Walk

Join the Meningitis Trust for a walk through Stroud's famous Five Valleys, enjoy the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

Five Valleys Walk 490w.jpg

Our popular 21 mile circular route takes in some of Gloucestershire’s most breath taking scenery, with thousands of people taking to the hills for us. The walk is split into nine sections, and as Stagecoach offer free shuttle buses you can walk as much or as little as you wish.

The 2013 Five Valleys Walk will take place on 29 September.

There is even a section from Dudbridge to Nailsworth that is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs as it follows a cycle path.

You can start the walk at any of the nine checkpoints, everyone is welcome, even dogs! Our checkpoints are at Nailsworth, Minchinhampton, Brimscombe, Eastcombe (Honeyhill), Slad, Pitchcombe, Standish Wood, Wycliffe Preparatory School and Dudbridge.

If you want to find out more about the Five Valleys check out our fun facts page.
