The 21 mile sponsored walk is a circular route split into 11 manageable sections; the shortest of these is less than a mile long, so participation has never been easier! Walk just one section, link several together, or tackle the whole route. You can start and finish at any of the checkpoints.The walk takes in some of Gloucestershire’s most beautiful countryside, weaving in and out of its famous Five Valleys (Golden Valley, Toadsmoor Valley, Painswick Valley, Slad Valley and Nailsworth Valley).

Free shuttle buses are laid on, courtesy of Stagecoach, to take you back to your vehicle wherever you decide to finish your walk. Free drinking water, maps to help you navigate the route and lots of encouragement are available at every checkpoint from our friendly marshals.

Get together with your family, friends, colleagues, walk alone, bring your dog, give your team a theme, dress up…

Whatever you choose, please raise as much sponsorship for the Trust as you can, have fun, be healthy and walk with your head held high.

Supporting the Event

This year the event is being supported by the following companies who have either donated time, services, products or made donations, and we are very grateful to them all for thier generosity.

In 2007 the event was a great success with over 1,700 walkers taking part (and about 100 dogs!). So far we have received £54,500 and there is still money trickling in! Please send any sponsorship money or donations to:
