Ian Rush MBE has offered his support to our Subbuteo ‘Clip Ons’ campaign as he understands first-hand how important the work of the Meningitis Trust is. At the age of 5, Ian contracted meningitis and although he has no after-effects, he appreciates how different things could have been.
Ian says; “I am delighted to be working with the Meningitis Trust on this campaign. I feel lucky to have been left with no long lasting after-effects from the disease, but I know how some are not so fortunate. The Trust’s work is really important, and by supporting the Subbuteo ‘Clip Ons’ campaign and buying these, people are helping to make a difference to the lives of others. What better way to help a great cause than by getting something that you want in return too”. |
