Medicine & Me: Meningitis and Septicaemia

Following the success of this year’s ‘After-effects and Aftercare Conference’, we were delighted to be working with the Royal Society of Medicine to stage a ‘Medicine & Me: Meningitis and Septicaemia’ conference at 1 Wimpole Street, London, on March 25, 2010, it discussed care and research issues surrounding meningitis.
The event was attended by people who have been affected by meningitis, including, the bereaved, those who have contracted meningitis themselves, and health professionals who are involved in the treatment and care of patients who have had the disease. The event was also attended by Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex, our royal patron.
