Community based support means that people get the support they need wherever they need it.

We have Community Development Officers (CDOs) throughout the UK, and community support in Ireland, so support is never far away. It could be from a member of the Community Help Group team, or from one or more other people who can offer valuable support through their own personal experience.

Community Help Groups consist of members of the public who support our aims, helping us by raising awareness of meningitis through the distribution of literature, by giving talks, attending exhibitions in their areas, by raising funds to further support our work and, of course, being a support for others who are having or have had experience of meningitis.
