We fund counselling, wheelchairs, speech therapy, specialist equipment and more. But we can't without donations. Please help.

Partnerships Programme

Now the oldest and largest meningitis patient group in the world, we know we can only achieve our vision - for everyone affected by meningitis to have access to support for life and for awareness levels of the disease to be such that lives are saved - by working in partnership with other organisations.

Whether you are a charity, service provider, community group, professional body or commercial company – by partnering with us you really can make a difference. And our partnership programme is built on genuine two way relationships, mutual benefit, good communication, delivering results and, above all, trust.

Together we can make a difference

If you answer“yes” to any of the following questions, please contact us as we know that together we can make a difference:

  • Does your organisation or its members work with people who have been affected by meningitis?
  • Do you reach out to large sections of the general public as part of your everyday activity?
  • Do you sometimes wish you had a louder voice in changing things for the better for the people you work with?
  • Do you have a project that you want to work with us on which would benefit your target audience as well as ours?

How to become a partner

It could not be easier – just contact Sue, our CEO, and introduce yourself.

Auditory Verbal UK is delighted to be part of the Meningitis Trust Partnership Programme. Together we can reach more children who have lost their hearing after meningitis and help to rebuild their families’ lives.  We are grateful to the Meningitis Trust for providing support and information at a critical time to these families and for referring them on to our specialist services.
