How you can help us
Student fundraising
Students are one of the most at risk groups from meningitis, and with the Meningitis Trust,
there are lots of ways to help those who have been affected by this devastating disease.
Why not take part in our street collection programme (see below)?
You could also run, walk, trek, cycle or organise your own fundraising - the world's your oyster!
Our street collecting programme can take you all over the UK and Ireland, giving you the chance to see new sites, and meet people from other universities.
We have a number of collections planned for the coming year:
St Patrick’s Day Raid
14 March, Liverpool
This is the Trust’s longest established raid. There is church hall accommodation over Friday and Saturday night. As well as Liverpool, there are a limited number of spots in Chester shopping centres.
Meningitis a Trois
23 May (Bank Holiday weekend), Bath
Bath Council have confirmed we can collect all day.
We're still working on this one, so accommodation is not confirmed yet, but there will be some.
The Big Weekend
10/11 July, London, Reading and Newbury
This is the Trust’s largest raid. Friday 11 is spent collecting on London Tubes, and Saturday you can choose from Reading or Newbury. There is church hall accommodation on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Feel free to join us for the whole weekend, or just one of the days.
If you can't make any of these, don't worry, let us know where and when you would like to hold a collection, and we will do our best to get you a permit.
We would also be happy to come and talk to you about our work, and how your support helps us.
