What we can do for you
Hospital visiting (N.I.)
| At the moment, we are only able to offer this service in Northern Ireland.
We know that families benefit from seeking our help as early as possible. A nurse from the Meningitis Trust can visit a family whilst they are still in hospital. She will take time to listen to the family’s experiences, answer questions about the disease and offer emotional support and reassurance. The family will be offered a Home Visit for when they are discharged and can receive ongoing emotional support in the weeks and months ahead. Hospital and Home visits in Northern Ireland are supported in 2008/2009 by a grant from the Roald Dahl Foundation.
