Has meningitis affected your everyday life? Things you took for granted may now be much more difficult, but we can help to make life easier with a discretionary support grant.
We have given grants for:
• special equipment and aids
• travel and accommodation costs
• respite care
• funerals and headstones
• therapeutic activities
• re-education or special training
...and much more. We award grants to help the sufferer, or to help the immediate family members who care for them.
To find out more about Financial Support Grant applications call Tracy Lewendon on 01453 769043 or contact our 24-hour nurse-led helpline on 0800 028 18 28. |

Maria contracted meningitis at birth, which resulted in cerebral palsy. She is now fully dependant for all her needs on her family and carers. The Meningitis Trust funded a Pony Walker for Maria.
Maria’s mum, Niki, says, 'She absolutely loves it and it has helped to make her more mobile and independent and just a happier little girl'. |
